Switch speakers

Play through your Mac's speakers, headphones or AirPods.

Warble can move your Mac’s sound to another speaker without opening Control Centre. The volume slider then sets the volume of the speaker you chose.

Choose a speaker

1. Hover over the notch, or click it, to open it.
2. Click the speaker symbol at the right end of the volume slider. It shows the speaker that’s playing now, such as a laptop for your Mac’s own speakers or AirPods.
3. Choose a speaker from the list. The one that’s playing has a tick.

Everything your Mac plays moves to that speaker, not just the app in the notch. Each speaker remembers its own volume, so the slider jumps to the new speaker’s level.

AirPlay speakers

AirPlay speakers and Apple TVs aren’t in Warble’s list yet. To play through one, open Control Centre in the menu bar and choose it under Sound.
